I believe that a fair dedicated only to outdoor and camper components is essential and it is an idea that I have always supported. Customers have numerous options when it comes to recreational vehicles, but far fewer when looking for accessories. Regarding the period, April seems perfect to me. With summer just around the corner, people are starting to plan their vacations. The January-February fairs are too early for Italy. Instead, April is ideal. And I find the initiative to dedicate two days to B2B fantastic. For Brunner, many projects come to fruition between the autumn fairs and the summer. Products that were previously prototypes, in April become finished products ready to be presented, of reference and negotiation for business to business.

I welcomed with great interest the arrival of a specialized fair on accessories and components for campers and caravans. Our company celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year since its foundation and is a well-rooted reality on the Italian and European markets. We are distributors and manufacturers of accessories and spare parts intended for both original equipment (manufacturers) and retailers and dealers. Fit Your Camper will be an opportunity to meet and talk to our team, to preview the latest trends just before the period in which traveling tourists get moving for their holidays. We have always believed in quality relationships with our customers and suppliers. This fair represents a special opportunity to meet up, exchange ideas, experiences and plan a successful season together. We have many innovative products and many technological solutions to present to you, but our DNA is also that of human relationships. It will be a pleasure to meet the professionals and do it calmly, in a situation that seems perfect to us to create a collaborative spirit and rediscover the serenity of relationships that our sector so much needs.

I have always supported the idea of ​​a fair dedicated to accessories for campers and caravans, believing it essential to give more visibility to our sector. The B2B component is fundamental for us, having experience in other sectors such as automotive. End customers often find out about news before our centers and, sometimes, even before journalists. I believe that April is the ideal period for a B2C and B2B fair in the components sector. During this time, people start to find out about accessories. It's the perfect time to discuss, implement solutions and train retailers on new products ahead of the new season. This type of fair represents an opportunity, almost like an "open doors" event, but for all producers.

It is certainly a fair that is missing, has never been there and is needed, because those who want to find out about accessories have never had a dedicated showcase at a time of the season when traveling tourists start to move and plan holidays. The September fair is now just a memory, while an event in April reignites interest in the world of accessories. If this fair is organized with care and professionalism it will be able to take off and grow over time. The idea of ​​the two B2B days is also excellent, because often the dealer doesn't have time during the fairs where recreational vehicles are sold. He is unable to scout, that is, discover new products or technologies proposed by the accessory sector. Even more so if a company does not have a structured commercial network to visit dealers outside of trade fair events.

We enthusiastically welcomed the idea of ​​participating in a fair dedicated to the world of accessories in the after market, a sector in which our company believes and invests a lot. It is not the first time that some products start from the after market and then turn to the world of OEM manufacturers. We are expanding the range of our products so the fair will be a marketplace and an opportunity to reach the majority of customers (B2B) in a few days. With a long history behind us we have always had an eye for Made in Italy. Today our DNA is even stronger thanks to the mix of Italian creativity and quality made in Germany thanks to the AL-KO Group. Spring 2024, chosen as the period for the fair, will be an exceptional opportunity to make not only climate change but also business opportunities even more exciting.

I believe having a reference fair is a great opportunity for our internal market and for our Made in Italy. As Airxcel Group we are recognized as a leading supplier in the European RV industry, and this is an undeniable fact. Having an exclusive space where we can present products, innovation and technologies offers us the opportunity to have a dedicated platform to share and collaborate with other professionals in the sector. Two days of B2B meetings and networking will benefit the entire sector. I am truly enthusiastic about this initiative. All the trade fairs in the sector have always left the accessories department at the rear and above all they have never organized B2B days dedicated only to professionals. At this fair there are even 2 days which give us the opportunity to talk much more calmly with our customers. The period is perfect, not too early or too late compared to the summer season. Another truly innovative thing is the free entry for campers during the weekend and the many initiatives planned to inform users on technical aspects or topics more related to travel and holidays. What was missing was a fair like this, dedicated to those who already have a camper, who will have the opportunity to inform themselves and choose the accessories they need for their camper, caravan, van or to better enjoy outdoor tourism.

We like the idea of ​​a fair dedicated to camper accessories and components in general. For this reason we enthusiastically joined and will participate in the Fit Your Camper fair in April. We particularly like it for three reasons: the first is its temporal positioning in the heart of the season for those traveling by camper; the second due to the fact that it is dedicated exclusively to components and accessories and the third because it has both specific B2B days and B2C days. So we will have the opportunity to speak with industry professionals, but also with customers, at different times.

It is a new and interesting initiative that we are happy to experiment with. I would like to say that it fills a void, but perhaps there are even two... On the one hand, a fair entirely dedicated to accessories responds to the needs of the consumer who already owns the camper and addresses the accessories market with a curious and concrete attitude, with the goal of tailoring it to the size of your holiday and keeping it updated and current over a life cycle that often exceeds ten years. This type of user can take advantage of free entry on weekends, a tool that helps materialize simple curiosity by transforming it into a purchase intention. On the other hand, for a manufacturer like Eberspächer, an accessible accessory fair represents an interesting opportunity for synergy with the centers of its installation and assistance network: being present in the same place at the same time means not only efficiency, but also being able to present together in front of the end customer. It is a method of collaboration that inevitably rarely happens in daily work, and I think it is effective both for responding to customer requests and for cementing a collaboration between the manufacturer and its network which in the current aftermarket market is becoming increasingly central.

Truma will participate in Fit Your Camper through one of its historic distributors, Dimatec SpA. This fair certainly represents an innovative idea for the mixed b2b and b2c formula. We look forward to meeting our service centers and spending quality time together to exchange opinions, discuss and network. I think the idea of ​​a specific accessory fair is excellent. In the nautical sector there is a very successful fair, the METS in Amsterdam. It's good to have an event focused on after market accessories, which could one day evolve and also cater to camper manufacturers. Excellent initiative also for end users looking for information and updates on accessories. I firmly believe it's a great opportunity. Regarding the period, personally I would lean towards doing it a little earlier. In my opinion, April might be a little late, but I could also be wrong.
