A FIT YOUR CAMPER 2026 SPECIAL GUEST DIEGO GASTALDI WITH HIS FRESHLY CUSTOMIZED IVECO TIGROTTO 4X4
The next edition of Fit Your Camper welcomes a special guest: Diego Gastaldi. Well-known and widely followed on social media, a documentary filmmaker, former Paralympic athlete, and road traveler, he will be a key figure for all four days of the fair, where he will officially unveil the new trim for his iconic vehicle: an Iveco Tigrotto 4x4. This exceptional guest perfectly embodies the spirit of the event: innovation, customization, and the freedom to experience travel without boundaries.
From 9th to 12th April at pavilion 19 of BolognaFiere it will be possible to meet Diego Gastaldi, meet him and get a sneak preview of his newly completed Iveco Tigrotto 4×4. The Fit Your Camper trade fair is pleased to host the official unveiling of this extraordinary customization, which will be on display throughout the event thanks to the collaboration with Nice Crazy Vans.
A dedicated space will put this truly exceptional vehicle at the center: a 70-ton Iveco Tigrotto 4×4 with a completely customized living area.
A unique vehicle, designed to tackle extreme conditions and ensure maximum autonomy:
- 900W of solar panels
- 608 Ah LiFePO4 batteries
- 9 kW inverter
- Great fuel and water autonomy
- Double door for cabin/cell passage
- Cell separated from the frame to allow off-road torsion without structural stress
The cell and its accessories were designed by Diego and engineered and built by RingosAround of Turin. Some key components, such as the custom door, access system, and rear rack, were handcrafted in Velletri with the assistance of his trusted blacksmith, to perfectly meet his specific needs.
Il multifunction rear rack it is a highly innovative element:
- Carry your handbike
- It integrates a booster seat that allows it to reach the roof of the vehicle
- It transforms into a real outdoor gym called “Gravity”
The roof elevation system isn't just a technical solution: it's a symbol of freedom. It allows Diego to play music, meditate, interview people, and host artists during his travels.

Who is Diego Gastaldi?
Diego Gastaldi is an aerospace engineer and Paralympic athlete who has won 12 Italian titles and two European bronze medals in track and field. After a brilliant athletic career, he chose to leave the track to embark on a journey of personal rediscovery, living and traveling in a van with Bea, his inseparable Beagle. He designed his first vehicle in his home garage, transforming a passion into a lifestyle that led him to the set of Kilimanjaro and to becoming an IVECO Ambassador.
Today, he makes documentaries, experiences extreme adventures with his fellow travelers, and collaborates with Sea Shepherd and Mondo Parallelo for marine conservation and inclusion projects. Among his greatest passions is music: playing the guitar on the roof of his van, overlooking the majestic landscapes he encounters along the way.
